Main Directorate of the STS in Chernihiv region reported that local budgets of all levels of Chernihiv region received about 1.5 billion UAH of taxes and fees during the 1st quarter of 2020.
The biggest share in the total amount of paid taxes (more than 61%) is accounted by the personal income tax which was transferred in the amount of 911 million UAH, of which 182.3 million UAH was directed to the regional budget, the rest to the budgets of the united territorial communities and districts.
Property tax (for land, residential and non-residential real estate, as well as premium cars) was transferred in the amount of another 227 million UAH (15.3% of the local community budget revenues). Single tax on entrepreneurial activity was transferred in the amount of 226.7 million UAH (15% of the total).
Part of the remaining taxes and fees is 8.2% of revenues amount are: paid income tax in mount of 17.8 million UAH, rent for the use of natural resources – 49 million UAH, excise tax on the sale of excise products and fuel – 33.3 million UAH, license fees on the sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products – 3.9 million UAH, environmental tax – 5.5 million UAH.
The fourth part of the local budget revenues of the region was transferred from tax payments provided by the institutions of public administration, education and health care (24.9% of the total amount or 369.3 million UAH). Also, large amount of taxes were paid by the representatives of agricultural sector (18.8% or 279.5 million UAH) and industry (15% or 222.5 million UAH).
Business entities working in the sphere of trade and catering transferred 115.2 million UAH (7.8% of local budget revenues), transport – 91.9 million UAH (6.2%), forestry – 49.2 million UAH (3.3%), construction – 23.7 million UAH (1.6%).
