Personal income tax continues to maintain the position of the most important source of filling the revenue part of the local budget in Mykolaiv region – 66.4% of the total amount of other taxes and fees.
Due to the initiative and control of tax and community representatives the amount of 1.1 billion UAH of the personal income tax was provided to the local budgets of Mykolaiv region in the 1st quarter of 2020.
Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region reported that the PIT revenues during January-March 2020 exceeded the same indicator in 2019 by 160 million UAH or almost 17%.
Significant indicators in the personal income tax payment were achieved due to the active un-shadowing of labor relations with employees and the interest of territorial communities in the growth of financial support aimed at solving social programs of citizens in Mykolaiv region.
