Providing significant revenues to the local budgets is one of the priority areas of work of the State Tax Service of Mykolaiv region.
Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region reported that due to responsible and conscientious attitude of small and medium-sized business entities regarding the payment of taxes, the local communities received 227.1 million UAH during the 1st quarter of 2020. Comparing to January-March 2019, revenues have increased by 25.6 million UAH.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev noted that since the beginning of 2020, there has been a positive tendency in the single tax payment by all categories of taxpayers who have chosen a simplified taxation system which testifies to the creation of the most comfortable conditions for doing business in the region.
Thus, the vast majority of funds were transferred by the individuals – entrepreneurs who chose the simplified taxation system. During that period they transferred 142.3 million UAH, which is almost 16 million UAH more than during the 1st quarter of 2019. During the reporting period the legal entities – “simplifiers” paid 28.2 million UAH, agricultural producers – single tax payers paid 56.6 million UAH.
According to Dmytro Prokofiev, the revenues growth of the single tax by small and medium-sized enterprises is the daily joint work of tax specialists, government and local self-government for the community and the country as a whole.
Please note that the single tax is fully directed to the local budgets. Therefore, transferring it in a timely manner by the business entities - “simplifiers” there is an equal filling of the budgetary revenue part which contributes to the financing of the social sphere, as well as the development and livelihood of local communities.
