According to the results of January-March 2020, from the income of individuals working in Vinnytsia region, the consolidated budget received 1 billion 871.4 million UAH of the personal income tax (hereinafter – the PIT).
According to acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk the collected amount is 137 million UAH less than expected due to Covid-19 quarantine and restrictive measures. However, comparing to the same collected amount during the 1st quarter of 2019, the PIT revenues growth exceeded 10.6% or 178.8 million UAH.
More than 74.5% of total amount of the PIT or 1 billion 394.9 million UAH was transferred to the local budgets.
Tax official reminded that currently the personal income tax accounts more than 64.5% of the local budget revenues. Thus, ending the emergency situation as soon as possible, resuming full employment and further legalization of income of citizens’ working in region remain in the priorities of the regional Tax service.
