Summing up results of work of the Tax service of Mykolaiv region during January – April 2020, acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev noted that Tax service of Mykolaiv region works effectively on un-shadowing the economy and increase budget revenues at all levels. Result of testing risky operations of business entities is an increase in VAT declaring. Thus, 856.8 million UAH of the VAT on goods produced in Ukraine was transferred to the state budget, which is 188.8 million UAH or 28.3% more than during January – April 2019.
According to Dmytro Prokofiev, an increase in the VAT revenues confirms the principle of transparency in the value added tax administration as effective mechanism for controlling the calculation and payment of the VAT, improving the work of electronic services for the VAT payers, as well as timely destruction of criminal schemes on minimization of taxes and convert of funds.
