Taxpayers of Volyn region transferred 618.5 million UAH of the value added tax during January – April 2020. Amount of paid VAT in Volyn region is 20.3% higher than in 2019.
“Information and technological developments, available to the specialists of the State Tax Service, allow timely preventing risks of non-payment of the budget-generating VAT. In fact, the communication system between the Tax service and business exclusively in electronic format completely makes subjective decisions impossible. This eliminates the corruption component in the VAT administration” – stated acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Oleh Hyrykovych.
Tax official emphasized that increase in the VAT payments in the context of restrictive measures in connection with the coronavirus pandemic and economic slowdown is the best proof of the Tax service’s efficiency. Improving quality of the VAT administration, legal and transparent businesses can count on timely budgetary reimbursement.
