Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region reported that the value added tax was paid in the amount of 1.8 billion UAH to the state budget during January – April 2020, which is 23.8% or 345 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
In April 2020, the taxpayers paid 394.7 million UAH, which is 16.2% or 54.9 million UAH more than in April 2019.
In the structure of the state budgetary payments, the share of value added tax is 45%.
The biggest amounts were paid by business entities operating in Primorskyi district in Odessa – 486.7 million UAH.
At present, as of 01.05.2020, there are 16951 business entities registered as value added tax payers in the territory of Odessa region: 15922 legal entities and 1029 individuals. Comparing to 01.05.2019, the number of value added tax payers increased by 1529 business entities.
Significant value added tax figures testify about the quality of service for the value added tax payers, as well as about the creation of comfortable conditions for business in the region and honest fulfillment of the taxpayers’ obligations.
