Four months of the income declaration campaign for 2019 have passed. 4825 residents of Ternopil region submitted income tax declarations during this period. Of these, 2260 individuals were obliged to declare their income and 2565 declarants decided to use their right to get a tax rebate. Situation with the introduction of quarantine significantly affected the course of declaration campaign. Therefore, comparing to the same period in 2019, the number of submitted declarations decreased. However, it is gratifying that the deadlines for submitting the property and income declarations have been postponed to July 1, 2020. So we hope that everyone will fulfill their constitutional duty.
Total amount of declared income is 379.7 million UAH.
Total amount of self-accrued tax liabilities is 11 million UAH of the personal income tax and 2.1 million UAH of the military levy.
25 people declared received millions. Total amount of income declared by millionaires amounted 147.5 million UAH. Among the main sources from which they received millions of income are: the inheritance or gift (5 individuals), sale of the real estate and movable property (4 individuals), independent professional activity (4 individuals), investment income (2 individuals), etc. Millionaires have to pay an additional 2.4 million UAH of the personal income tax and 300.000 UAH of the military levy.
18 citizens declared receiving foreign income and declared 4.1 million UAH of income. Also, 19 individuals declared 7.7 million UAH from the investment income. Income revenues from the lease of property were the reason for submitting the declaration by 143 residents of Ternopil region. They declared 8.8 million UAH of such income. 748 individuals declared the inheritance and donations in the amount of 93.8 million UAH and 467 declarants in the amount of 65.2 million UAH from the sale of movable and immovable property.
