7495 residents of Vinnytsia declared their income during January – April 2020. In total, they declared 851 million 10.3 thousand UAH of income received during 2019. This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk.
According to him, almost 44% of them or more than 3.2 thousand individuals used the right to get a tax rebate. According to calculations, they will receive the reimbursement of more than 7.6 million UAH of the personal income tax.
As for individuals who were obliged submit a declaration, their number amounted to 4258 during January-April 2020. According to calculations, they will pay more than 18.2 million UAH of the personal income tax and almost 2.8 million UAH of the military levy.
According to the official, among the “mandatory declarants” more than 73% of citizens received other income – mostly income from the sale of agricultural products. About 15.5% declared inheritance or gifts. The rest are citizens who had income from renting or selling the real estate and / or movable property, investment income, foreign income, etc.
Oleh Martyniuk added that 43 residents of Vinnytsia region declared a million of income. Almost half of them are from the sale of movable and immovable property during January – April 2020.
Acting Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region reminds that due to the quarantine restrictions related to the COVID-19, the submission of declaration has been extended until July 1, 2020. However, as before, citizens who intend to use the right to get a tax rebate can submit declaration before the end of current year, ie until January 31, 2020.
Therefore, the official invites his compatriots to join the declaration process and fulfill their civil duty by submitting the property and income tax declaration by mail or electronically, so as not to expose themselves to financial responsibility once again.
