Modern information technology, through which most business entities communicate with the Tax Service not only during the quarantine period, allow to timely form, submit reporting and fulfill tax obligations without a visit to the controlling body – noted Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region.
Specifically, in April 2020 individuals, including entrepreneurs, submitted 20.000 electronic declarations for processing by specialists of the Tax Service.
Therefore, the modern format of communication with the State Tax Service through the Electronic cabinet in April 2020 gained new supporters in Volyn region. In total, 89.5 thousand declarations or 66% of all reporting documents were submitted by individuals – entrepreneurs in electronic form during January – April 2020.
Twice as many – 42 thousand electronic declarations in April 2020 were received by the State Tax Service from legal entities registered in the territorial bodies of the State Tax Service in Volyn region. In total, following the results of 4 months, legal entities formed and transferred almost 128 thousand reporting declarations through the Electronic cabinet or 85% of the total number of submitted ones.
Thus, the number of supporters of contactless interaction between the taxpayers with the Tax Service of Volyn region is growing.
Adding to the fact that convenient communication with the Tax Service through the Electronic cabinet eliminates the subjective factor, the lack of personal contact prevents the spread of dangerous COVID-19.
Registration in the Electronic cabinet allows taxpayers to perform other duties at any convenient time using information offered by the electronic services – emphasized Main Department of the State Tax Service in Volyn region.
It should be reminded that free service from the State Tax Service “Electronic cabinet” can be used around the clock from both personal computers and smart devices.
Electronic cabinet consists of public open part which can be accessed without user identification and of private part (personal cabinet). Login to the personal account is carried out using a qualified electronic signature of any provider of electronic trust services or by identification through id.gov.ua (MobileID, BankID). With the help of this service it is possible to create and send electronic documents, including tax reporting, requests for information and applications for registration by taxpayers of certain taxes to the State Tax Service.
The taxpayer can also get access to personal information in real time, namely to receive information about the amounts of received income and withheld taxes, status of the submitted reports, etc.
Login to the Electronic cabinet is carried out at cabinet.tax.gov.ua or through the web portal of the State Tax Service (tax.gov.ua).
