Almost 96% or 396 enterprises in Ternopil region have increased their employees’ salaries since the beginning of 2020. This is the result of explanatory work carried out by specialists of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Ternopil region with the heads of 413 such business entities, involving local self-governments. As a result, the budgets received additional 3.1 millionUAH of which 1.3 million UAH is the personal income tax and 1.8 million UAH is the single social contribution.
In addition, entities that owed their employees a salary paid it. There fore, employees received 13.4 million UAH of the salary debt, subsequently treasuries received additional income. After all, the debtors transferred 2.6 million UAH of the personal income tax and 2 million UAH of the single social contribution to the budgets.
As a result of control and audit work regarding the taxpayers who paid salaries and other incomes to citizens in violation of the tax and other legislation, the number of 34 audits has been conducted since the beginning of the year. After all, 18 legal entities and 16 entrepreneurs were checked. Violators were charged with 6.3 million UAH of fines and penalties. Namely, they have to pay 4.6 million UAH of the personal income tax, 500.000 UAH of the single social contribution and 300.000 UAH of the military levy.
Due to the intensification of explanatory work on the need to register labor employment relations with employees in April 2020, the number of 2887 individuals was additionally registered.
