22 residents of the region have declared income in the amount of more than 1 million UAH since the beginning of 2020 in Khmelnytskyi region. At the same time, the property and income declarations were submitted by 10 official millionaires in May 2020, who received income from the real estate lease and due to the investment income.
In total, more than 4.3 thousand residents of Khmelnytskyi region declared their income totaling 520 million UAH during January – May 2020. As a result, payable to the budget tax liabilities amounted 20 million UAH. Of these, 17 million UAH is the personal income tax and 3.5 million UAH is the military levy.
“If we strive for stability and development, we should support the state and communities by paying taxes in a timely manner. It is noteworthy that residents of Khmelnytskiy region confirm the status of conscientious taxpayers and declare income from which taxes were not paid in 2019. This is a tendency of civilized countries, when conscious income declaration and responsible payment of taxes work for the community, country and make it the main public player of the taxpayer.” – emphasized Head of the Individuals taxes and fees department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region Oksana Dmytriieva.
At the same time, the Individuals taxes and fees department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region reminded that the declaration campaign in Ukraine is legally extended and will last until July 1, 2020 but do not postpone this important deal. Tax liabilities specified in declarations by such individuals must be paid by October 1, 2020.
