According to the Tax monitoring department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region, the local budgets of Khmelnytskyi region received 2.7 billion UAH during January – May 2020. It is noteworthy that the amount of funds raised for the communities’ needs is by 124 million UAH exceeds the same indicators of the corresponding period in 2019.
The main source of filling the communities’ budgets of the region traditionally occupies the personal income tax, the total amount of which to the local treasury has amounted 1.8 billion UAH, which comparing to the same period in 2019 in absolute terms is more than 116 million UAH.
Other budget-forming components for territorial communities’ development are the following deductions: the single tax which was transferred in the amount of 416 million UAH and also the land payment which was transferred in the amount of 255 million UAH.
According to the STS specialists the growth rate of revenues to local budgets indicates the effectiveness of remote explanatory, information and communication activities carried out by the Tax service jointly with community assets. In general, the vast majority of business entities are responsible for fulfilling their constitutional obligation to pay taxes, on time and in full amount.
