Employers of Khmelnytskyi region have paid more than 2.3 billion UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance since the beginning of 2020, which is 110 million UAH more than during the same period in 2019.
Herewith, the indicative task was fulfilled by 100.1%, which means that in addition to the indicative task, 2.6 million UAH was allocated for social services.
Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region draws the employers’ attention that undeclared work or wages below the statutory level deprive employees of social guarantees.
Priority for the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region is constant and systematic control over compliance with the tax legislation regarding the payment of wages to employees and other incomes to citizens to ensure the completeness and timeliness of pension and various social benefits. After all, the social guarantees of each employee directly depend on the employer’s tax discipline. Only a legal workplace guarantees payments to the employee in case of an insured event and future retirement benefits.
It should be reminded that in 2020 the minimum contribution is 1039.06 UAH. The single social contribution base rate is 22%. The single social contribution is paid quarterly, by the 20th day of the month following the reporting month or monthly in the form of an advance payment by the 20th day.
