Entrepreneurs of Chernivtsi region, working on the simplified taxation system, paid more than 203.5 million UAH of the single tax to the local budget during January – May 2020.
Thus since the beginning of 2020, local communities of Bukovyn region have received 1.7 million UAH more from simplified business entities comparing to the same period in 2019.
Regarding the real contribution from representatives of the simplified taxation system to local budgets, the biggest budget share belongs to individuals – entrepreneurs who paid more than 165.4 million UAH of the single tax. Territorial communities of Chernivtsi region received more than 25.8 million UAH of the tax revenues from legal entities – “simplifiers”. 12.3 million UAH was transferred from the agricultural producers of Group IV.
Tax specialists of Bukovyn region draw the attention of “simplifiers” to the innovations defined by the Law of Ukraine as of 16.01.20 № 466-IX “On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine to improve tax administration, eliminate technical and logical inconsistencies in the tax legislation”.
Specifically, the Tax Code of Ukraine now directly fixes the amount of tax debt, the presence of which for each first day of the month for two consecutive quarters obliges the single taxpayer to switch to the general taxation system (updated Sub-paragraph 8 Paragraph 298.2 of the TCU). Amount of such debt is now tied to the minimum amount at which the taxpayer receives the tax demand. It must be more than 60 non-taxable minimum, ie exceeding 1020 UAH (60 x 17 UAH).
