Taxpayers of Odessa region paid 6.9 billion UAH of taxes and fees during January – June 2020, which is 5.2% or 340.1 million UAH more than during the same period in 2019.
Of the total amount, 4.1 billion UAH of the personal income tax was paid during January – June 2020, which is by 247.2 million UAH or 6.4% more than during the 1st half of 2019.
Payment of the single and the excise tax on the sale of excisable products by retail trade entities has significantly increased. Thus, business entities of Odessa region paid 1.1 billion UAH of the single tax, which is 10.7% or 104.8 million UAH more than during the same period in 2019. In turn, 130.9 million UAH of the excise tax on the sale of excisable products was paid by retail trade entities, which is 13.2% or 15.3 million UAH more than during the 1st half of 2019.
Also, payment of the real estate other than land tax paid by individuals has increased by 20.6% comparing to January – June 2019.
“Revenues growth to local budgets allows local communities to use these funds to address their socio-economic issues. After all, the successful development of community depends on the effective mobilization of own resources and the efficient use of budgetary funds” – stated Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region Yuliia Shadevska.
