Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region informed that the taxpayers of Mykolaiv region transferred 2.8 billion UAH of the single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance to the pension and social funds, which exceeds the last year’s figure by 154 million UAH.
Revenues growth from the single social contribution was achieved due to high-quality tax administration, improved analytical work, taxpayers’ service, as well as targeted work with employers to increase the level of employees’ wages, measures to un-shadow income and legalize employment.
Tax service of Mykolaiv region emphasizes that only legal employment involves appropriate contributions to the budget. That is why the tax authorities will continue to constantly and systematically monitor compliance with tax legislation regarding the payment of wages and other citizens’ incomes in order to fulfill tasks of ensuring the implementation of state policy on the administration of single social contribution for timely pension payments and social benefits.
