Operation “Harvest 2020” has started in Volyn. Relevant order of the Head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk provides for a number of priority tasks for Volyn tax specialists during the harvest of crops.
In addition to organizing control over the real state of salary payments to employees involved in agricultural production at all stages, the tax specialists will identify illegal employees and involve in the declaration individuals who provide services of combining their own equipment and cultivate land for commercial gain hectares during the harvest.
“Agricultural sector requires a big number of employees who often work for agricultural producers without a proper employment relationship. This means not only budget losses, but also non-compliance with social guarantees of citizens. We ask managers of enterprises and farms not to ignore the legal right of every employee for official salary” – emphasized Head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
Head of Volyn tax specialists stressed that only legal employment gives the right to receive social benefits in case of disability and decent future pension.
“We draw attention of the land tenants to comply with the law when paying landlords for the use of shares. In general, control over the land use is one of the primary prerequisites for stable filling of community budgets. Therefore, we ask managers of agricultural enterprises and farms to take care of strict compliance with the law and payment of taxes.” – summarized Svitlana Savchuk.
