Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region received 352 written citizens’ appeals, including 351 applications and 1 complaint during January – June 2020.
The main issues raised by citizens concerned information on tax evasion, control and verification work, property tax, explanations on national taxes, single social contribution to compulsory state social insurance and the registration numbers of account cards.
All appeals were considered and timely answers were provided.
Today, the STS’s bodies of Ukraine in accordance with the Law of Ukraine as of 02.10.1996 № 393/96-VR “On Citizens’ Appeals” (hereinafter – the Law № 393/96-VR) accepts and processes the citizens’ appeals regardless of the citizen’s chosen method of sending such appeals.
Thus, Article 5 of the Law № 393/96-ВР provides for citizens to send a written application using the Internet, electronic means of communication (electronic application).
Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region carries out reception of electronic citizens’ appeals to the e-mail address od.zvernennya@tax.gov.ua.
At the same time, Part seve7n Article 5 of the Law № 393/96-ВР stipulates that sending citizen’s application using the Internet, electronic means of communication (electronic application), the use of electronic digital signature is not required.
Herewith, the Law № 393/96-VR sets requirements for a written application (including sent by electronic means), namely: the application must indicate the name, patronymic, place of citizen’s residence, essence of the issue, comments, suggestions, statements or complaints, requests or demands.
Written application must be signed by the applicant (applicants) indicating the date. The e-application must also indicate the e-mail address to which the applicant may receive a reply or information on other means of communication.
