STS of Mykolaiv region conducted effective work to prevent unlicensed activities in the market of excisable products during the 1st half of 2020 which resulted in the local budgets’ revenues in the amount of 81.5 million UAH of the excise tax on trade of alcohol beverages and tobacco products by the retail business entities. Comparing to the same period in 2019, the excise tax revenues from retail trade of excisable products have increased by 6.3 million UAH.
Note that for each unit of sold alcohol or tobacco product, the amount of 5 percent of the excise tax is transferred to the city treasury or the united territorial community.
Excisable product control department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region keep ongoing measures to un-shadow the market of excisable products in the Mykolaiv region. In order to reduce the shadow turnover of excisable products during the 1st half of 2020, the number of 103 actual audits of business entities has been conducted, as a result of which 4.7 million UAH was additionally accrued and 1.6 million UAH – paid.
Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region reports that 2207 business entities conduct retail trade of alcohol beverages and tobacco products, including 285 legal entities and 1922 individuals – entrepreneurs on the territory of Mykolaiv region.
