Employers of Kherson region transferred 2043 million UAH of the personal income tax to the budgets of all levels. This is 100 million UAH or 5% more than in 2019. Personal income tax remains the main source for the consolidated budget and accounts for 52% of the total tax revenues in the region.
Local treasuries of the region received almost 75% of collected tax which is 1523 million UAH for the budgets of Kherson communities. Of these, the budget of Kherson region received 46% of total revenues or 708 million UAH of local taxes and fees.
In addition, a quarter of the paid personal income tax, namely 520 million UAH was directed to the state budget.
Due to the responsibility of a significant part of Kherson employers, the budgets of all levels and, above all, territorial communities receive the biggest share of tax revenues for the development of their own socio-economic sphere.
