Results of the citizen’s income declaration campaign for 2019 were discussed at a press conference at the Tax Service of Luhansk region.
Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Luhansk region Olha Vysochyna, spoke with journalists of regional mass media.
She informed that during January – June 2020, more than 16.4 thousand citizens submitted declarations to the STS’s territorial bodies and declared income received in 2019 totaling 662.8 million UAH. According to these declarations, the amount of self-determined taxpayers’ personal income tax liabilities is 28.9 million UAH and 3.3 million UAH of the military levy. Personal income tax liabilities are 3.5 million UAH more than in 2019.
According to Olha Vysochyna, revenues in excess of 1 million UAH received in 2019 were declared by 43 taxpayers. Comparing to the same period in 2019, the number of this year’s millionaires has increased by 12 people. Amount of their declared income is 168.9 million UAH. According to the declarations, self-determined payable tax liabilities from the personal income tax are 4.6 million UAH and 457.1 thousand UAH from the military levy.
During the event, Olha Vysochyna said that the taxpayers of Luhansk region declared tax liabilities from the personal income tax on the following types of income: from the sale of agricultural products declared 12 thousand 609 citizens and independently determined to pay personal income tax in the amount of 14.4 million UAH; from inheritance or gift of property declared 523 citizens and independently determined to pay personal income tax in the amount of 3.6 million UAH; from transactions on sale (exchange) of movable and / or immovable property declared 304 citizens and independently determined to pay personal income tax in the amount of 0.6 million UAH; 28 citizens declared tax liabilities from the sale of the investment asset and independently determined payable personal income tax in the amount of 1.3 million UAH.
