72 taxpayers of Kherson region received budgetary reimbursement totaling 366 million UAH of the value added tax during 6 months of 2020. At the same time, the tax authorities refused to reimburse the state budgetary funds to 31 business entities totaling 11.4 million UAH of the VAT. This was reported by specialists of the Legal Entities Taxes and Fees Department of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Kherson region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city.
Introduction of electronic register of reimbursing VAT, which operates in an open mode, allows returning amounts claimed for budgetary reimbursement within 30 days to almost 85% of VAT payers in the region. The vast majority of declared VAT amounts the taxpayers receive based on the results of internal audits. Procedure for the value added tax reimbursement takes place within the time limits determined by the law.
