Taxpayers of Khmelnytskyi region transferred 6.6 billion UAH of tax payments to the budgets of all levels during 7 months of 2020, which is more than 500 million UAH or 9% more than during the same period in 2019.
Herewith, the indicative task was fulfilled by 101.2%, ie that the consolidated budget additionally received more than 80 million UAH.
According to distribution, the state budget received 2.7 billion UAH of tax payments. Thus, the revenue growth rate is ensured for 300 million UAH. It is noteworthy that the dominant segment of filling the country’s treasury is the value added tax, the payment of which is provided in the amount of 1.1 billion UAH – which in absolute terms is more than 117 million UAH comparing to the same period in 2019.
At the same time, territorial communities of Khmelnytskyi region received 3.9 billion UAH of tax payments, which exceeds the last year’s level of revenues by 220 million UAH. The personal income tax here traditionally remains the budget-forming tax. Due to the declared work of the regional residents, the amount of paid PIT reached the level of 2.6 billion UAH, which is 160 million UAH more than during January – July 2019.
“Systematic payment of taxes to the state and local budgets is primarily a result of productive activities of socially responsible business in Khmelnytskyi region, which, despite coronavirus losses, takes an active position in the implementation of production activities and services. Given the current environment, it is important to work jointly to implement new legislation that improves and simplifies doing business, stimulates initiative and development of healthy competition in the business environment.” – stated Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region Vitalii Lazarev.
Tax official also emphasized that the Tax Service actively works to ensure that the timeliness and completeness of budget is supported by modern taxpayers’ service support, professional resistance to attempts to minimize the tax mechanism through formation of scheme tax credit and the use of at-risk entities“services”.
