Amount of the single contribution to compulsory state social insurance revenues from taxpayers of Rivne region amounted 2 billion 999 million UAH during January – July 2020, which is 164.9 million UAH or almost 6% more than revenues during the same period in 2019. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui.
Enterprises, organizations and entrepreneurs of the region transferred 418.6 million UAH of the SSC on social needs in July 2020, which is 20.2 million UAH more than in July 2019.
Vitalii Chui noted that cooperation with regional employers, as well as un-shadowing of the labor market is one the priorities in the work of tax specialists, as wages and incomes of individuals – entrepreneurs are the main source of the single social contribution which replenishes social insurance funds, finances state social programs, pensions, material assistance to citizens, etc.
Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region recalls that the Law of Ukraine as of 13.05.2020 №592-IX “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Collection and Accounting of the Single Contribution to Compulsory State Social Insurance” to Eliminate Discrimination by Payers” provides for the write-off of arrears from the single contribution, as well as fines and penalties accrued on these amounts of arrears to individuals – entrepreneurs on the general taxation system and individuals involved in independent professional activity, if such payers have not received income (profit) from their activities which it is subject to the personal income tax.
To write off the amount of arrears from the single contribution, it is necessary to submit an application and take certain steps within 90 calendar days from the date of entry into force of the Law № 592-IX (from 03.06.2020 to 31.08.2020).
