According to Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region, the local budgets of Rivne region received 3.02 billion UAH of tax payments during January – July 2020.
Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Rivne region Vitalii Chui noted that amount of paid funds for the communities’ needs is by 193 million UAH more than the same indicators of the corresponding period in 2019.
Traditionally, the main source of filling the communities’ budgets is the personal income tax; it’s total amount in the local treasury amounted 2.1 billion UAH, which is 161.9 million UAH more comparing to the same period in 2019.
Vitalii Chui reported that despite the audit moratorium, temporary exemption from accrual and payment of single social contribution and other “quarantine benefits”, most business entities are responsible for fulfilling their constitutional obligation to pay taxes and other payments to budgets in a timely and full manner.
It is important that in conditions when the country is taking action against challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, transferred to the local budget funds are a special lever for this counteraction.
