86948 individuals applied to Ternopil Taxpayer Service Centers for administrative services during January – July 2020. There are 17 such centers in the region. Specialists of the Tax Service provided 54412 administrative services.
Ternopil Department remains the leader in providing such services – 17916 (32.9%). Slightly less administrative services were provided in Kremenets – 10476 (19.3%), Chortkiv – 8403 (15.4%), Terebovlya – 8393 (15.4%), Koziv – 54108 (9.9%) departments and the State Tax Service in Ternopil region – 3814 (7%).
Most often, visitors applied to obtain a taxpayer’s card and enter data on the registration number of the taxpayer’s account card in the passport of a citizen of Ukraine. 16849 citizens used this service, which is 31% of the total number of provided administrative services. Slightly fewer services were provided for the issuance of information from the State Register of Individuals Taxpayers on the amounts of paid income and withheld taxes – 14793 (27.2%). In order to register as a single taxpayer and obtain extracts from the Register of single taxpayers, 3881 and 3997 visitors applied to the Taxpayer Service Centers, respectively.
It is noteworthy that in premises of the Taxpayer Service Centers of STS in Ternopil region, employees of sector for registration of users of the management (center) of key certification of the Information and reference department of the State Tax Service provide services for free issuance of enhanced certificates of public electronic digital signature keys for legal entities, individuals – entrepreneurs and citizens. During January – July 2020, employees generated 15096 public electronic digital signature keys. Comparing to the same period in 2019, the number of keys has more than doubled, namely plus 7972 certificates. This is due to the long-term quarantine restrictions; presence of electronic digital signature allows taxpayers to use electronic services of the Tax Service without leaving home.
