Zaporizhzhia enterprises and entrepreneurs transferred 2 billion 39 million UAH of the value added tax to the state budget during January – July 2020 (excluding data of large enterprises registered at Zaporizhzhia Office of the STS Large Taxpayers Office). According to Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov, revenues have increased by 10% or 187 million UAH comparing to the same period in 2019. In addition, accruals have increased by 195 UA, or 10.5% based on the results of submitted VAT declarations.
The biggest amounts of value added tax were transferred to the state treasury by business entities of Zaporizhzhia city, namely 1 billion 159 million UAH. Business representatives from Melitopol city, Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts paid 164 million UAH, Berdyansk city, Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – 157.6 million UAH, Vilnyanskyi and Novomykolayivskyi districts – 82.4 million UAH, Polohivskyi, Bilmatskyi and Rozivskyi districts – 81.6 million UAH, Orikhivskyi and Huliaipilskyi districts – 77 million UAH, Yakymivskyi and Pryazovskyi districts – almost 72 million UAH, etc.
In total, there are 9355 VAT payers – legal entities and 952 business entities – individuals registered in Zaporizhzhia, which is 232 more than in August 2019.
