Bukovyn tax specialists informed that regional taxpayers transferred 144.6 million UAH of military levy to the state budget during January – August 2020.
At the same time, contribution of Bukovyn residents to the defense capabilities of Ukrainian army has increased almost by 5.0 million UAH comparing to the same period in 2019. This amount is slightly lower than expected due to the introduction of quarantine related to COVID-19.
More than 17.5 million UAH of military levy was paid in August 2020 – fulfillment of the indicative figure has amounted 110.3%.
Herewith, tax specialists urge “illegals” who pay salaries in the envelopes and have employees without registration, to comply with the applicable law, as liability for intentional tax evasion and violation of the law on payment of wages involves application of significant sanctions.
