Volyn insurers paid 2 billion 913 million UAH of single contribution to compulsory state social insurance for social needs during January – August 2020.
Amount that Volyn employers have already transferred is by 67.4 million UAH more than similar revenues in 2019.
“After reduction of the single contribution payment during the period of strict quarantine, the growth tendency resumed. This fact indicates the gradual economic recovery, as well as the socially responsible position of most employers. Due to the established dialogue of Tax service specialists with representatives of honest business, the state receives funds to fulfill its social obligations”– emphasized Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
At the same time, Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region warns citizens about informal employment. It is an active civil position that will contribute to the legalization of labor market.
“Only those who have a legal employment can count on social benefits from the state in case of disability or retirement. We actively inform about these important things in the life of every person through all available information resources. So everyone who works will not be superfluous to ask their employer about deductions of the single contribution from salary, realizing that future social security depends on it” – summarized Svitlana Savchuk.
