2608 business entities were registered during the quarantine measures in Ternopil region. Such data is contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individuals – Entrepreneurs and Public Associations. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region Ivan Punko.
Tax official noted that the majority of newly created entities are small businesses. After all, 2159 individuals were registered as individuals – entrepreneurs during this period. 449 legal entities registered economic activity.
“During the quarantine, the number of 1833 taxpayers, including 71 legal entities and 1762 individuals – entrepreneurs suspended state registration. – summarized Ivan Punko. – However, in general, there is a positive tendency to increase the number of people wishing to start a business deal.”
According to Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region, this is greatly facilitated by the ability to register the one’s business online.
“It is the STS’s electronic services, both existing and new, that create the preconditions for business development, give an opportunity to submit reports without leaving home, check status of their payments, presence of tax debt, etc.” – emphasized Ivan Punko.
As of the beginning of September, the number of 59158 main taxpayers was registered at the State Tax Inspectorates of the STS in Ternopil region, namely: 24037 legal entities and 35121 individuals – entrepreneurs. Their number has increased by 744 or 3.2% and 691 or 2%, respectively comparing to the same period in 2019.
