Taxpayers of Poltava and region transferred 371.6 million UAH of military levy to the state budget during January – August 2020 (excluding indicators of large enterprises registered at Large taxpayers office of the STS). Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region reported that monthly deductions from the military levy have amounted more than 46.5 million UAH.
The biggest sums were transferred from the taxpayers of Poltava city, namely 146.8 million UAH and Kremenchuk city – 83.0 million UAH.
Reminder! The levy’s rate is 1.5% of accrued amount of income. It is mostly maintained and paid to the budget by employers who pay income and tax agents. In case of receiving other income (including foreign), from which the levy is not paid, the taxpayer is responsible for its transfer.
