485.4 million UAH of the income tax was paid in Volyn region according to 3 quarters of 2020.
Currently, the amount of income tax transferred by business entities of Volyn region is 11.1% higher than the last year’s revenues over the corresponding period.
“Positive dynamics of the income tax revenues in Volyn region is maintained despite the unfavorable economic tendencies due to the COVID-19 pandemic. First of all, we should thank our business representatives who honestly declare the real financial result of their own entrepreneurial activity. Thanks to such conscientious payers, the state budget receives funds to finance public needs in a timely manner” – emphasized acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Olga Lishchynska.
Tax official outlined that positive dynamics is definitely a result of joint successful work of tax specialists and taxpayers.
“Tax specialists extremely carefully analyze documents submitted by the taxpayers in order to prevent fictitious losses. Due to available information and analytical support, we can quickly establish whether the intention to avoid paying taxes is hidden behind the unprofitable results of individual enterprises. Effective work in this direction contributes to the establishment of equal competitive conditions for activities of business entities and, accordingly, the tax revenues growth” – summarized Olga Lishchynska.
Reference: during January – September 2020, the regional budget received 14 million UAH of the income tax from large taxpayers registered at Lutsk Enterprises’ tax support department of Lviv Directorate of the Large Taxpayers Office of the STS.
