Zaporizhzhia companies and entrepreneurs paid 2 billion 889 million UAH of the value added tax during January – September 2020 (excluding indicators of large enterprises registered at the Eastern Office of the Large Taxpayers Office of the STS). Revenues have increased by 349 million UAH or almost 14% comparing to the same period in 2019.
According to Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov, the VAT payment has provided about 50% of the total treasury revenues since the beginning of 2020. Every month, business entities transferred an average of more than 320 million UAH which is 39 million UAH more than in 2019.
During 9 months the VAT payers of Zaporizhzhia city transferred to the state budget 1 billion 564 million UAH, payers of Melitopol city, Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts transferred 231.7 million UAH, Berdyansk city, Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – almost 224 million UAH, Vilnyanskyi and Novomykolayivskyi districts – 143.6 million, Polohivskyi, Bilmatskyi and Rozivskyi districts – 129.3 million UAH, Orikhivskyi and Huliaipilskyi districts – 115.3 million UAH, Yakymivskyi and Pryazovskyi districts – 109 million UAH, Vasylivskyi and Mykhailivskyi districts – 101 million UAH.
In total there are 10259 VAT payers (9305 legal entities and 954 individuals – entrepreneurs) registered at the Tax service of Zaporizhzhia region, which is 79 more than in September 2019.
