Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region received 590 written appeals (589 applications and 1 complaint) during January – September 2020 which is 160 appeals more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
The main issues addressed by citizens concerned information about the tax evasion (385), control and verification work (57), property tax (31), explanations on national taxes (30), single contribution to compulsory state social insurance (21) and registration numbers of registration cards (8) – all were considered with timely answers.
At present, bodies of the State Tax Service of Ukraine according to the Law of Ukraine as of 02.10.1996 № 393/96-VR “On Citizens’ Appeals” (hereinafter – the Law № 393/96-VR) receive and process citizens’ appeals regardless of the citizen’s chosen method of sending such appeals.
Article 5 of the Law № 393/96-ВР provides for submission/sending of written citizens’ appeals using the Internet, electronic means of communication (electronic application).
