Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv Dmytro Prokofiev reported that taxpayers transferred more than 4.2 billion UAH of the single contribution to compulsory state social insurance to the pension and social funds during 9 months of 2020, which exceeds the last year’s figure by 255.1 million UAH or 6.4%.
Revenues growth of the single contribution became possible due to high-quality tax administration, improvement of analytical work, service for the taxpayers, as well as targeted work with employers to increase level of employees’ wages, taking measures to un-shadow income and legalize employment.
“Only legal employment involves proper contributions to the budget. That is why the STS of Mykolaiv region constantly and systematically monitors compliance with the tax legislation in payment of wages and other incomes to citizens, in order to fulfill tasks of ensuring the implementation of state policy on the administration of single contribution for timely payments of pension and social assistance” – stated Dmytro Prokofiev.
