The state budget received more than 3 million UAH of the excise tax on goods produced in Trans-Carpathian region during January – September 2020. Specifically, almost 1.8 million UAH was paid from the beer production, more than 673 thousand UAH from the sale of wine products and 646 thousand UAH from the purchase of excise marks for wine products by business entities. At the same time, the local budget received almost 128 million UAH of the excise tax on retail sale of excisable products during 9 months of 2020. This was reported by Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in the Trans-Carpathian region Ilya Matyola.
It should be noted that there are 22 business entities – producers of excisable products registered at regional Tax service. Most of them are mixed producers and beer producers. There are also 17 registered business entities – wholesalers and 3602 retailers of alcohol beverages and tobacco products. There are 4610 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and beer and 3217 for the retail sale of tobacco products.
According to Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in the Trans-Carpathian region, the local budget received almost 13.8 million UAH from licensing of the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products during 9 months of 2020.
In total, Main Directorate of the STS in Trans-Carpathian region issued 6061 licenses, of which 3629 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages, 2432 licenses for the retail sale of tobacco products.
Also, 825 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products were revoked during January – September 2020. Most licenses were revoked at the request of business entities, due to the non-payment of next payment within 30 days from the date of suspension of license and due to the decision to cancel the state registration of the business entity.
