319.3 million UAH of еру excise tax was paid from the sale of alcohol and tobacco products to local budgets of Odessa region

Business entities involved in the retail sale of excisable products paid 319.3 million UAH of the excise tax to local budgets during January – September 2020. This is 44.7 million UAH or 16.3% more than during the same period in 2019.

As of the 1^st of October 2020, the number of 13589 licenses for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and tobacco products were valid on the territory of Odessa region. Of these, 7030 are for the retail sale of alcohol beverages and 5559 for the retail sale of tobacco products.

Since the beginning of 2020, the number of 10548 licenses for the retail sale has been issued to business entities, namely:

- 6015 licenses for the sale of alcohol beverages;

- 4533 licenses for the sale of tobacco products.

911 licenses were revoked on the basis of applications from business entities during the specified period, including 34 licenses revoked for illegal sale of tobacco products and alcohol beverages to minors.

Total number of licenses issued for the retail sale of fuel is 648 (including 117 since the beginning of 2020). 1798 licenses were issued for the fuel storage (including 1652 since the beginning of 2020).
