Residents of Vinnytsia region submitted almost 6 thousand property and income tax declarations for 2019 during 9 months of 2020 in order to obtain a tax rebate. Declared for reimbursement amount is 14 million 89.7 thousand UAH. This was stated by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk.
According to him, the biggest number of declarations from the total number of applicants for the tax rebate was submitted by taxpayers who had tuition expenses. There is more than 66.1% of them. The next in number of declarants who paid for the construction (purchase) of affordable housing is almost 10.7%. And the top three are completed by those who used a mortgage loan – about 8.7%.
During the corresponding period in 2019, Vinnytsia residents submitted a total of almost 7 thousand property and income declarations for 2018 to receive the tax rebate. And the declared amount for reimbursement exceeded 13.7 million UAH.
Oleh Martyniuk recalls that to receive the rebate for 2019, it is necessary to fill in and submit property and income declaration to the tax authorities at the place of registration by the 31st of December inclusively.
