Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region reported that regarding accrual and payment of salaries there are 221.5 thousand insured individuals who receive salaries.
Another 10 thousand individuals receive monthly cash benefits.
Of the total number of legal employees, almost 206 thousand of their employers report to Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region and another 16 thousand work at enterprises registered at the Large Taxpayers Office of the STS.
“Everyone who has an official working place is a responsible taxpayer, as the employer deducts personal income tax and military levy from the budget on a monthly basis. At the same time, it is the employers who make contributions to the wage fund, ie they pay single contribution to compulsory state social insurance for each employee personally. This point is extremely important for functioning of the pension system” – emphasized Head Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
Tax official of Volyn tax specialists emphasized that it is thanks to legal working places that pensions are paid today and that adequate pensions are guaranteed in the future.
“Official employment has a number of obvious advantages. First of all, these are social guarantees in case of disability or work. If you plan your own future, you should already today take care of future pension, amount of which depends on the amounts of actually paid single contribution” – summarized Svitlana Savchuk.
