Business representatives of Zaporizhzhia region transferred 3 billion 452 million UAH of the value added tax to the state budget during 10 months of 2020 (excluding indicators of large enterprises registered at the Eastern Office of the Large Taxpayers Office of the STS). Level of revenues exceeded the last year’s revenues by 512 million UAH or 17.4%.
Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov reported that the VAT payment accounts for more than 50% of total state treasury revenues. Zaporizhzhia companies and entrepreneurs replenished the budget by 563 million UAH in October 2020, which is 163 million UAH more than during 10 months of 2019.
More than half of contributions were provided by business entities of Zaporizhzhia city, namely 1 billion 783 million UAH, taxpayers of Melitopol city, Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts paid 286 million UAH, Berdyansk city, Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – 285 million UAH, Vilnyanskyi and Novomykolayivskyi districts – 207 million UAH, Polohivskyi, Bilmatskyi and Rozivskyi districts – 176 million UAH, Orikhivskyi and Huliaipilskyi districts – 147 million UAH, Tokmak city, Tokmatskyi and Chernihivskyi districts – 132 million UAH, Vasylivskyi and Mykhailivskyi districts – 128 million UAH.
In total, there are 10222 VAT payers registered in tax bodies of STS in Zaporizhzhia region, including 9258 business entities – legal entities and 964 individuals – entrepreneurs.
