Employers of Kherson region transferred 3.684 million UAH of the personal income tax to budgets of all levels during 10 months of 2020. This is 277 million UAH or 85 more comparing to January – October 2019. Personal income tax is the leader in filling the consolidated budget and accounts for 49% of total revenues.
Local treasuries of Kherson region received 75% of the collected tax, which is the main source of regional budgets. And this is 2749 million UAH for the budgets of Kherson communities. In addition, more than a quarter of the paid personal income tax, namely 935 million UAH was directed to the state budget.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Kherson region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city Igor Klim reported that systematic payment of official wages by regional employers qualitatively affects the personal income tax revenues. Due to responsibility of a significant part of Kherson employers, the budgets of all levels, and first of all territorial communities, receive the largest share of tax revenues for the development of their own socio-economic sphere.
