Volyn residents who submitted annual property and income tax declarations for 2019 in order to obtain a tax rebate, determined 8.1 million UAH of the personal income tax for reimbursement.
Almost 7.7 million UAH of the tax rebate has already been transferred to the accounts of 2972 citizens.
“Important advantage of official employment is state’s social assistance in various life situations. In fact, the tax rebate is a partial financial reimbursement of the personal income tax paid on official income. In this way, the state builds partnerships with honest taxpayers. A part of the paid personal income tax can be returned to citizen in case of expenses for tuition fees, mortgages or insurance premiums, rent for internally displaced persons, etc.” – stated Head Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
Most often, Volyn residents submit declaration in order to obtain the tax rebate on education. At the same time, those who have incurred costs in connection with adoption, payment of insurance premiums under the long-term life insurance contracts or pension contributions under the non-state pension insurance, or have received reproductive medicine services, can also receive a tax rebate.
Reminder! Annual property and income tax declaration for 2019 for obtaining a tax rebate is submitted until the 31st of December.
As during quarantine period the Taxpayer Service Centers work with significant restrictions, it is better to submit declaration in the electronic form using Electronic Cabinet. In addition, STS offers each declarant through electronic service in the Electronic Cabinet to form declaration with already partially filled in data on the basis of taxpayer’s accounting data, information on accrued (paid) income available in the State Register of Individuals – Taxpayers and information on the real estate (movable) property. This means that citizen will not spend time entering data that is already in the databases of the STS.
Electronic Cabinet provides for ability to provide electronic copies of primary documents in addition to the declaration online.
Tax rebate can be granted only to a resident of Ukraine who has registration number of the taxpayer’s account card.
