Auditors of regional Tax service of Zaporizhzhia region conducted 498 audits of business entities during 10 months of 2020. Particularly, 284 documentary audits of legal entities were carried out (49 scheduled and 235 unscheduled), as well as 214 control measures among individuals – entrepreneurs.
Comparing to the same period in 2019, the number of audits of entities and organizations decreased by 59%, individuals – by 64%. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov.
155.6 million UAH of tax liabilities were additionally accrued for revealed legislative violations. Of this amount, business entities agreed on more than 150 million UAH (97%) and have already transferred 38.5 million UAH to the budget. Level of compliance with the previous year’s figure has increased by 62%.
Thus, according to the audit results, losses in the amount of 345 million UAH were reduced, which prevented the non-payment of 62 million UAH of income tax and overstatement of the negative VAT balances by 16 million UAH.
