Tax specialists of Vinnytsia region accrued 17.4 million UAH of financial sanctions for violations in trade of tobacco, alcohol and fuel.
Particularly, 8.9 million UAH of financial sanctions was applied during January – November 2020 as a result of organizational measures taken by employees of the Excisable product control department of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region to complete licensing and turnover of excisable goods.
4.5 million UAH of financial sanctions was accrued for fuel storage without a license; 2 million UAH for unlicensed retail sale of fuel; 500 thousand UAH for wholesale of fuel at outlets without a license.
In addition, for sale of alcohol beverages at prices lower than the established minimum wholesale or retail prices was accrued 760 thousand UAH of financial sanctions; for unlicensed sale of alcohol and tobacco –697.0 thousand UAH; for the sale of alcohol, low-alcohol beverages and tobacco products to persons under 18 years of age – 170 thousand UAH and 22 licenses were revoked, etc.
Excisable product control department of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region noted that they also carry out control and verification measures on the sale of fuel without registration as excise tax payer, non-registration of excise warehouses in the SEA on the sale of fuel and ethyl alcohol, non-equipment and / or lack of registration in the Unified State Register of flow meters and fuel level meters, non- provision of timely submission of electronic documents containing data on the actual fuel balances and the volume of fuel or ethyl alcohol due to the fault of excise warehouse manager to the central executive body implementing the state tax policy, violation of the procedure for keeping records of inventories at the place of sale and other violations of the Tax Code.
According to the results of these audits conducted during January – November 2020, additional financial sanctions on excise tax amounted to more than 8.5 million UAH and were additionally accrued.
Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region recalls that control and verification measures on the above mentioned issues are ongoing and are under constant control of regional Tax service.
