Local budgets received 3.014.2 million UAH of taxes and fees during January – November 2020. As for the last year’s revenues, their level was exceeded almost by 157.1 million UAH. This was reported by Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Chernivtsi region Vitalii Shpak.
The main sources that fill local budgets are personal income tax, single tax, land tax and excise tax.
Tax official stated that 65.6% of the total amount of revenues to local budgets belongs to the personal income tax. Revenues amounted to 1976.7 million UAH, which is 147.0 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019. Of these funds, 395.3 million UAH was allocated to the regional budget, the rest – to budgets of united territorial communities and districts.
As for the specific contribution of representatives of the simplified taxation system to local budgets, they transferred 458.8 million UAH. These funds are sent in full to accounts of those village / settlement / city councils, united territorial communities, on the territory of which the taxation objects are located and to the place of tax address of the single tax payers of Group I-III.
Excise tax on the retail sale of excisable products replenished local budgets by 103.9 million UAH.
In addition, local budgets received 57.2 million UAH of the real estate tax, 72.8 million UAH from forest, subsoil and water use, 25.9 million UAH of the income tax, licenses for wholesale and retail sale of alcohol beverages and 14.5 million UAH from the sale of tobacco products.
“Cooperation with local self-governments, mutual exchange of information allows tax professionals to respond appropriately, within their competence, to potential abuses in the labor relations sphere and during the sale of excisable products. This, in turn, makes it possible to increase tax payments, which are budget-forming for local communities” – emphasized Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Chernivtsi region Vitalii Shpak.
