Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Chernihiv region Lyudmyla Slotyuk reported that more than 15.3 billion UAH of taxes, fees and single contribution was paid by taxpayers of Chernihiv region during January – November 2020.
More than 10.6 billion UAH of taxes, fees and mandatory payments was transferred to budgets of various levels. The figure has been exceeded by 802 million UAH comparing to the corresponding period in 2019.
Almost 5 billion UAH (more than 46%) was allocated to the state budget. Significant part of revenues was provided from payment of the value added tax – about 2 billion UAH (40%), personal income tax and military levy – 1.5 billion UAH (more than 32%), rent payment for the use of natural resources – 603 million UAH (12%) and income tax – 635.8 million UAH (about 13%).
Taxpayers paid 5.7 billion UAH to local budgets of all levels during January – November 2020. The figure has been exceeded by 424 million UAH (8%) comparing to the corresponding period in 2019. This was mainly due to an increase in payments from budget-forming taxes: personal income tax by 9.3% (+306.3 million UAH) and single tax on entrepreneurial activity by 6.6% (+49 million UAH).
Lyudmyla Slotyuk emphasized that voluntary payments to budgets of all levels exceed 99% of the total amount of taxes. 18.2 million UAH was received due to control and verification work and 59 million UAH was received from tax debt collection.
In addition, insurers paid more than 4.6 billion UAH of the single contribution to compulsory state social insurance for transfer to the Pension and other funds. Last year’s level has been exceeded by 8% or 349.7 million UAH.
