Business entities that produce excisable products in Ternopil region paid 14.5 million UAH of excise tax to the state budget during January – November 2020. Additional payment receipts amounted to 900 thousand UAH or 6.1% more than expected. Main amount of tax, which is 14.3 million UAH was transferred from the production of alcohol products. Production of alcohol and beer added 100 thousand UAH of excise tax to the state budget from Ternopil region.
Territorial communities of Ternopil region during January – November 2020 received 96.8 million UAH of excise tax on the retail sale of excisable products. At the same time, payment revenues exceeded expectations by 6.4%. As a result, business entities transferred 5.8 million UAH to local treasuries. 34.1 million UAH (35.2%) was transferred from the sale of alcohol beverages. Sales of beer added to the budget 17.6 million UAH (18.2%) and tobacco products – 45.1 million UAH (46.6%).
