Law as of 30.03.2020 № 540-IX (Formerly the draft Law №. 3275) “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine aimed at providing additional social and economic guarantees in connection with the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19)” was published and came into force on the 2nd of April 2020.
Document envisages amending more than three dozen regulatory acts. Specifically, the Law abolishes VAT on the import of medical products and exempts business from payment of the land and property tax, rent for state and communal land. In addition, it envisages a number of preferences for legal entities – corporate taxpayers.
