Today, the topical issue for users is the purchase of secure key information storage device or transition to it from unprotected. Usage of such storage device allows securing the data recorded on it from unauthorized access, direct acquaintance with the parameters of private keys and their copying.
To ensure the possibility of using advanced electronic signatures and seals based on the qualified public key certificates, a Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of 03.03.2020 № 193 introduced a draft project. It is implemented before the date of entry into force of amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Electronic Trust Services” to regulate the use of advanced electronic signatures and seals based on the qualified public key certificates, but not later than the 31st of December 2021.
Many users of the qualified provider of electronic trust services of the Information and Reference Department of the State Tax Service have already purchased secure key information storage devices.
The “User’s Guide” of software “IIT User CSK-1” was amended with Paragraph 7 “Transition to ZNKI by electronic request” for convenience of users of the qualified provider of electronic trust services of the Information and Reference Department of the State Tax Service.
This Paragraph describes step by step mechanism of independent switch from unprotected key information storage device to a secure. With it, users can quickly and easily switch to secure key information storage devices and generate new certificates via the E-request.
